YS flight

Its a cool free Flight sim that also lets you go online. The graphics are super basic so no need to worry about system requirements but is sooo much fun. You can also download mods to add aircraft, sounds, scenery and ground units to add to YS flight.

ACSkies has also released their own flight sim based on YSFlight. Its not as good but you get a map based on AC with AC aircraft skins.

Its a free downloadable car racing game, you can race against online with anyone in the world to represent your country. The one with most points after the competition ends wins 400 grand.

The graphics and gameplay are excellant considering its free, but can be downgraded to suit lower system capabilties. Single player and track customization is also possible.

its google but with a black screen, it has been launched under the intention to save power. As browsing with a black background consumes considerable less power than with a white background. (does not work with LCD screens though)

It makes me think though, those macs where everything has to be white and the screen is so incredibly bright it hurts my eyes. Like the ds lite screen, TOOOO BRIGHT.

We have an energy conserve thing, where the screen darkens if you don't touch the computer for a certain time.

It's called a screen saver, we have it to, also if we don't use it 4 15 mins it goes into hibernation

No, not a screensaver. The screen itself remains the same but the lumination drops.

yeah, same thing here, but its called powersave (no shit). timed for 20 seconds after no human interaction. excludes media

and we of course, have brightness control

screensavers kinda use up more energy than a standby screen

and hibernation is brilliant, so useful when switching classes
