Religion and faith in the unprovable

Let us know if you believe in anything and why.
If you're an atheist or an an absolute, 100% secularist, say why too.
I'm a secularist. This means I don't believe in any religion, spirituality or anything that can't be analysed. I think this way because I believe a belief without substance is near worthless most of the time. I think religion can be beneficial but it is not the most beneficial way of analysing and reacting to the world.

I hope this topic doesn't get rude, personal or go off track like many of the others have. I'll leave them be for now but if this does any of these things I will delete posts straight away.

I am agnostic: I believe there's some sort of supreme being out there, but let's put it this way: humans came from chimps, the world was not made in 7 days, the earth is not the center of the universe.

We didn't evolve from apes. Our line has always been beside them though, and very similar.

Do you feel any need to prove your beliefs? Do you feel having such beliefs helpful?

I don't know how to prove my beliefs to people whom believe differently.

Religion should be abolished. How many wars have there been over religion? And where do you think terrorists get the crazy idea that blowing themselve up is good
