Although release documents were floating around last week amidst Nintendo's financial announcements, IGN has confirmed that the details listed were indeed official, and as such, all three of Nintendo's so-called "big guns" are set to arrive before 2007 is out - at least in Japan.
First party Wii titles listed, and their respective release dates, include:
• Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (DK Jet or DK Bongo Blast, US) - June 28, 2007
• Wii Health Pack - 2007
• Disaster: Day of Crisis - 2007
• Mario Party 8 - 2007
• Project H.A.M.M.E.R. - 2007
• Wii Music - 2007
• Super Mario Galaxy - 2007
• Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 2007
• Battalion Wars II - 2007
• Forever Blue - 2007
• Mario Strikers Charged - 2007
• Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 2007
• Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - 2007
Also listed were Animal Crossing Wii and Hoshi no Kirby, whose dates remain yet to be announced. Of these, only four have been promised definite releases in North America in 2007, and they are Mario Strikers Charged, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Pokemon Battle Revolution and Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree. Considering titles such as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption are US-developed, however, it's safe to assume they'll make their debuts in the West before they do so in Japan.
I know its old, but...
