In the latest T3 magazine the team compared a dedicated Blu-Ray (BR) player to the PS3 BR and the winner was the PS3 BR. If you are after a BR player, the PS3 is almost a steal; games, internet, music and movies for less than a dedicated player

I think if people were to get blu-ray, they'd go with the ps3 anyways

That is such poofty lies. The ps3 in reality is a cheap crappy blu-ray player. Heck, it doesnt even have the full features of a real blu-ray player. In detailed terms, the ps3 player can only read 2 layers of a blu-ray disk, whilst a normal 'dedicated' player would read all 6. Do some research if you dont believe me.
(that dedicated player was probably made by sony <.< or some silly company like palsonic (rip off of pansonic, and they suck))
