Wii're heading online in Australia on June 7

Mario Strikers Charged Football looks as though it'll be the game to usher in the Wi-Fi Connection Wii in Australia.

Nintendo looks likely to introduce online multiplayer gaming to Australian Wii owners starting June 7, when Mario Strikers Charged Football, the first Wi-Fi-enabled game to be scheduled for local release, arrives in the country

Nintendo Australia has confirmed that the game will debut on that date, however, the company has yet to indicate whether Pokémon Battle Revolution - the game which will usher in the service throughout North America, on June 25 - will appear Down Under before Mario's football outing.

At this stage, it appears as though Aussie gamers will be treated to being second only to Japan in getting a first-hand experience of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection on Wii.

Awesome, take back what I said earlier...Maybe the same time here in N. A. too? It'd be nice if nintendo gave us some info too <_<.

No way you can wait we had to wait for the Wii itself.

you mean it is coming out on Wii??

don't think so.

Its being realised on the ds, but it will connect and do stuff with the wii pokemon game.
