| Thanks to the Office of Film & Literature Classification, four more prospective titles for the Australian Virtual Console have been revealed, thanks to their newly-acquired ratings for entry into the unique download service.
The collection's made up entirely of NES titles, and is led by Samus' original outing in Metroid, followed by the notorious classic, Super Mario Bros. 2 - Mario Madness, the disguised edutainment title, Donkey Kong Jr. Math, and...Adventures of Lolo.
As per usual, they should be available within weeks. |

| Well not everybody is going to get every one. There aren't enough quality games to allow Nintendo to release four-ish titles a week for a fair while now. |

| Funny you mention that because the world's fastest time is 4 hours, 46 mins
You'll have to send me a video if you actually expect me to believe that.

| oh and just for good measure (sorry about the double post, I don't want to refresh 100 times just for the edit button to appear)
They did a tool-assited run on it. That means it the FASTEST time POSSIBLE, there's know way they can get it any lower, was 2 hours, 33 mins

| woopies, maybe i made the time a little early. I used all the glitches in the book, and now that i actually bothered to refer to my emulator. It was 2 hours 56 mins (oh well, i tried). And i did not use tools, just glitches built into the game. As a matter of fact, i skipped ALL the temples (old link) and just did the shadow one (maybe thats why my time was so short ) I know, i have way to much time on my hands, i just love OoT |

| It must've been on emulator there's no way you could do some of that stuff on the console. You need to do all the temples, however, to get to ganon's castle, I believe.
And I don't believe you got a time of 2:56 neither. You'll have to capture it, if you're doing it on emulator, they have emulator recorders all over the place.

| Sure whatever
What do you think ive been doing during all those holidays?
And yes it was on an emulator, master quest (i believe that there are more glitches in that version). And i did have a tool to skip those tedious cut scenes. Maybe thats why ^.^
TAS (slow down time etc.) runs are for people who dont plan carefully and have butter fingers <.< |

| oops, no edit button for me <.< You dont need to do all the temples, finishing the shadow temple triggers the temple cut scene, and the creation of the light bridge. Essentially you just need to beat dampe (hookshot), do the shadow temple and the final temple. (adult link) I love doing the temples in the wrong order, i always like to do the spirit temple first. (aparantly it damages the game, but i can just redownload it from the Wii shop channel ) |

| So let's see: 1. Earn all 3 stones as a child 2. Ocarina and Master Sword 3. Hookshot from Dampe` 4. Bomb jump to shadow temple 5. beat shadow temple 6. temple cut scene 7. glitch to get to inner-castle 8. ...beat the game
Sounds like a damn-good route to me. I have master quest too on emulation...you and I both know the differences; but that would entirely screw up the dungeon routes, I'll need to replay some areas (especially the shadow temple) but I'd like it if you could explain to me the routes through the dungeons as they are very-much different from standard OoT.
Oh and your text tool (my guess is a button that speeds up the game, combined with a turbo-button to get thru the dialog) is a tool and therefore, makes your run- TAS.
TAS runs are for people who plan VERY carefully. And they also spend a year or two doing that kinda work, frame-by-frame, for much longer runs. I find it extrordinary one would spend so many hours vigorously working on a "perfect" run. But I guess having good reflexes means something too.

| oh well, TAS assisted then. (i was kinda refering to that slow down thingy). I use the text speed tool, or the cut scene speed tool. Whatever.
There are also some major glitches (some hard to perfom though) with young link. Such as getting past the king zora early.
THere is a glitch that allowes you to skip about 80% of the shadow temple (you still need to get the hover boots for later glitches if i remember). Watch that video i posted earlier with child link beating the shadow temple.
I know what you mean by the Master Quest version of the shadow temple. <.< (i heard the water temple was actually meant to be easier) |
