Resident Evil 4 returns as discounted Wii Edition?

North American retailer GameStop has revealed, via a listing on a website, the existence of a 'Wii Edition' of Capcom's Resident Evil 4, at the very attractive price of US$29.99, or AU$37. In addition, the title is scheduled for release on the 25th of June.

Capcom has made no indiciation of any plans for such a product, yet Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto expressed last year the possibility that some GameCube games could be re-released as discounted titles on Wii. Sit by as we await for confirmation, or denial, of this interesting product.

Bakc in 2004 nintendo said they would be working on New and Innovative games...And this is what we get a remake!? -_- No.

And a while ago nintendo did state they would be making wii version of GCN classics, this is one example.

I remember when Apollo brang one of the resident evil games over to my house. it scared the s*** out of me. am not a huge fan of zombie games.

I thought the older resident evil games were more scary. Resident evil 4 wasn't scary at all.

Oh well, its just like the ps2 version, but with GCN graphics, supposedly some more bonusus (such as the trailer) and wii controls. Even though ive played the original about 100 times and still own it, i might get this
