it has lan support. when compared to other 6 genertation consoles- ps2, gcn, and dc, it has the best graphics and sound. here's the hardware order:

Graphics and Sound
1. Xbox
2. GameCube
3. Playstation 2
4. DreamCast

Processing Speed
1. GameCube
2. Xbox
3. DreamCast
4. Playstation 2

Thats alone proves the months of ranting with me and devilboy on whether gamecube or ps2 was more powerful. I always won of course, not to mention the GC is the most sturdy in those smashing 'tests'.

It is definitely the ugliest of the 6th generation systems, lol.

Looking at that list - it makes the PS2 seem a lot more... mortal.

I suppose that the PS2 would be on top of the games list however.

Did the GameCube really have better graphics than the PS2?

I used to be payed out heaps because I didn't own a PS2.

It was always believed that the ps2 was better in than the Gamecube in all views. This is not entirely true, only the ps2's game library beats the GC's.

Resident Evil 4 is a great example, the GC version was superior to the Ps2's.

Tell those losers who payed you out to start thinking about where they dump their money in the future.

Yeah that was basically it. The GameCube was the cheaper option, so the snobbish jerks at my school immediately dismissed it. The PS2 was only more expensive because there was more demand and it had the DVD player bundled in.

I'd resident evil 4 was better on the ps2, it had far more gameplay modes to play- sperate ways a hole game within the game and a more weapons to play with. However you also had to sacrifice good graphics and fast load times

once again sorry for the double post

Here's the list of games

Playstation 2 (HEAPS of awesome games, online later on)
Dreamcast (online mode, many orignal and great games)
GameCube (no online <.<, many good games)
Xbox (online, but most of the games were either 3rd party or ported from the pc)

Don't worry you didn't double post.

Why didn't the Dreamcast sell well? Was it because of the crappy controller? I don't think the problem was with the GameCube's games, it was with the amount of games. NOT ENOUGH THIRD PARTY PUBLISHERS.

In reality, the dreamcast was more superior than the SNES in terms of, well, everything.

It just didn't receive the attention it deserved.

Yes, and, the wii has already sold more units than the gamecube in its entire lifetime. Now thats something, the wii wont follow.
