Halo 3 Multiplayer, good or bad?

I heard Halo 3 was almost entirely devoted to multiplayer. It better be good or ill never get a 360.

Here's what I think about Halo:

Halo = decent FPS, the only reason I beat it was because I wanted to know vwhat happened in the story.

Halo 2 = halo 1 with online.

Halo 3 = halo 2 on the 360.
