Microsoft Unveils X.box 360 Elite

Redmond, Washington—Microsoft Corp. announced the upcoming availability of Xbox 360™ Elite, a new model of the video game and entertainment system that includes a 120GB hard drive, a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cable, and a premium black finish for the console, wireless controller, and Xbox LIVE® headset.



Xbox 360 Elite has enough space for a library of Xbox LIVE Arcade games and thousands of songs, as well as downloadable high-definition TV shows and movies available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The new 120GB hard drive also will be sold as a stand-alone accessory to give current Xbox 360 owners greater choice and flexibility in their games and entertainment experience.

Wow, you must be eager to get an elite xbox

Hell no, I'm the least eager out of everyone. People keep saying:
"omg the elite is awesome!"
"well, it's $80+."
"so, it will be worth it has HD and a much larger hard drive."
"and you'll really own 120 gigs worth of games?"
"well, proabably no--"
"and do you even have a 1080p HD tv?"
"well, my tv says it can do 540p, but I don't think we actually have it..."

this is why the 360 elite...SUCKS. It is nothing but a load of useless crap. I want a 360, but in no way am I gonna spend 80 extra bucks on shit that I will never use.

An extra 80 bucks can do many other things.

in microsoft's case it only 2 extra things that are only worth it to a few people. It's a money trap. 3 if you count the black look as an "extra"
