I just looked up declan.......i could have trained at him at one point! Holy shit that kid is fast. And I thought Kenneth To (who did a 53 for 100 free at 14yrs) was fast

Yeah - I was so pissed when I saw him in my division on swimming carnival. He's also taller than 6 ft, so he's pretty intimidating before the dive too.

He's not unbeatable. A guy in our year (also new, and also from the UK) managed to get within 1.5 seconds of his 50m freestyle time.
